2013 Jingle Bell Snowshoe Run - Canceled

Please join us for this fun & festive snowshoe run/walk through the woods around beautiful Suncadia. Whether you plan on running the whole way or walking and enjoying the scenery, it should be a fun event for everyone. Come dressed in your favorite Holiday themed outfit. This event is at the beautiful Suncadia Resort. So come up for the weekend and enjoy their many winter activities like ice skating, inner tubing, cross country skiing, wildlife viewing, winter fishing, and much more!

Canceled - Unfortunately, there is no snow at Suncadia.  This event has been cancelled.  We will be refunding registration fees to all registered participants.The Race

The Race

• Discounted snowshoe rentals for $5, with convenient pick-up and drop-off at registration (while supplies last). 
  • Suncadia will be renting $5 snowshoes (MSR EVO) at the event
  • Snowshoes can also be rented prior to the event from:
    
    • REI - Issaquah, Seattle, Redmond, Tukwila
      
    • Sports Authority - Issaquah
      
    • Mountain High Sports - Ellensburg
      
• Snowshoe running doesn't require special clothes, just wear running shoes and dress like a winter trail run.  See our FAQ for more info.
• Participants are encouraged to walk/run in their favorite Holiday themed outfits.
• Course will be in mostly open areas, some forest trails. No risk of avalanches or steep slopes.
• Terrain will be varied with some hill climbs and descents.
• At the finish we'll have a choice of hot soups, bread, cookies and other goodies to fuel you up.
• Access to indoor bathrooms and a warm club house.
  
• Atmosphere will be fun, geared for everyone to have a good time. Great fun for families.
• Sign your small kids up for the Kids Dash. This will be about 1K in length and should provide plenty of opportunities to get great pictures of your kids..
• Dogs will be welcome to accompany you on the course, provided they are leashed. (Please see FAQ for more information.)
• Race is eligible for Snowdog Series Points.
• If not enough snow to safely snowshoe, the event will convert to a trail run on the cart paths throughout Suncadia.

Pre-registration available on our website, payment through PayPal.  Day-of registration with Credit Card only, if event hasn't sold out.  Prices listed below do not include tax.

Day-of Registration, Check-in, Start/Finish are all at the run HQ near the Pro Shop.

Race HQ Location

The race HQ and Start location will be 1.5 hours East of Seattle near the Prospector Pro Shop (next to the Inn) at Suncadia.

Directions (coming from the West, Seattle):

• East on I90
• Exit 80 toward Salmon La Sac/Roslyn, go 0.2 mi
• Left onto Bullfrog Rd, go 2.1 mi
• 2nd exit at the traffic circle onto Suncadia Trail, go 2.1 mi

Directions (coming from the East, Ellensburg):

• West on I90
• Exit 80 toward Salmon La Sac/Roslyn, go 0.3 mi
• Right onto Bullfrog Rd, go 2.1 mi
• 2nd exit at the traffic circle onto Suncadia Trail, go 2.1 mi
