2013 Sun Country 10K Snowshoe Run

The Jingle Bell 10k Snowshoe Race/Run/Walk will be at the beautiful Sun Country Golf Course near Cle Elum, WA. The 10k will do two loops.  Don't think this golf course is flat and easy though.  The hill climb from the starting line will warm you up, and the finish line descent will be exhilarating.  Whether you plan on running the whole race or walking and enjoying the scenery, it should be a fun event for everyone.

Here are the finer details for the Jingle Bell 10k Snowshoe Race/Run/Walk:

• Event date is Saturday February 9th, 10:00am start time.
• Sun Country is right off I-90 at Exit 78, close to Cle Elum.  Paved roads to the start line.
• Course will be in mostly open areas, some forest trails. No risk of avalanches or steep slopes.
• The terrain will be varied with some hill climbs and descents.
• At the finish we'll have a choice of hot soups, bread and other goodies to fuel you up.
• Warm Club House with indoor bathrooms!
• Race is the Regional Qualifier for the USSSA Nationals, as such, it is a USSSA sanctioned event.
• Atmosphere WILL be fun, geared for everyone to have a good time.
• Free snowshoe rentals, while supplies last.
• Yes, dogs will be welcome to accompany you on the course, provided they are leashed. (Please see FAQ for more information.)
