2013 Winterfest 10k Snowshoe Run

The Winterfest 5k Snowshoe Race/Run/Walk will be at the beautiful Echo Ridge Trail - The Shoe, in Lake Chelan, WA. The 10k will do two loops.  This course will have its fair share of rolling hills, with a starting line descent and a finish hill-climb.  Whether you plan on running the whole race or walking and enjoying the scenery, it should be a fun event for everyone.

Here are the finer details for the Wintefest 10k Snowshoe Race/Run/Walk:

• Event date is Sunday January 13th, 10:00am start time.
• Course will be in mostly open areas, some forest trails. No risk of avalanches or steep slopes.
• The terrain will be varied with some hill climbs and descents.
• At the finish we'll have a choice of hot soups, bread and other goodies to fuel you up.
• Race will NOT be a USSSA sanctioned event.
• Atmosphere WILL be fun, geared for everyone to have a good time.
• Discounted snowshoe rentals, while supplies last.
• Yes, dogs will be welcome to accompany you on the course, provided they are leashed. (Please see FAQ for more information.)
